Parent Services
Special education and 504 laws are federally mandated, but navigating the rules, regulations, and district policies that come with them is anything but straightforward, especially if you're new to this process or still figuring out what your child is entitled to. I'm here to work alongside you and your school to make sure the right services are in place, and to make sure you feel informed and confident every step of the way.
IEP Paperwork Review
IEP documents can be dense and hard to decode. I'll review your child's IEP with you, help you understand what it means, flag anything that looks incomplete or unclear, and make sure the plan truly reflects your child's needs.
504 Plan Support
A 504 plan can open doors for your child, but only if it's set up correctly. I'll help you understand what your child qualifies for, review existing plans, and make sure the accommodations in place are actually working for them.
Evaluation Reviews
School evaluations carry a lot of weight in determining your child's services. I'll walk you through the results, explain what they mean in plain language, and help you understand how they should be shaping your child's educational plan.
IEP and 504 Meeting Sit-ins
You don't have to walk into those meetings alone. I'll sit in with you virtually or in person to help you ask the right questions, understand what's being discussed, and make sure nothing gets glossed over.
1:1 Parent Consultations
I offer one-on-one meetings to answer your questions, help you understand your rights, and figure out your next move, whether you're just getting started or dealing with a difficult situation with your district.
Free 30-minute Consultations
Not sure if you need support or where to begin? Reach out and let's talk. I offer a free 30-minute consultation with no commitment required. You'll hear back with scheduling options within 24–48 hours.
Reviews
“Krystle Merry has been amazing through our Special Education journey. She continues to help our family understand the policies and expectations from the school as well as our student. I’d highly recommend her to any parent with a student that struggles with their education. I’ve seen one improvement after another. I also feel more confident now as a parent in the school system due to the guidance Krystle has provided.”
